Distributed Algorithms for Wireless Sensor Networks

  • Lecture: Tuesday, Bat 316.318, 14h-16h
  • Practice: Friday, Bat 319-321, 10h-12h

Please register to this course using the Dokeos website. The course is under the name “Distributed Algorithms for Wireless Sensor Networks” and it’s code is “14155”. The Dokeos system will also be used for handouts distribution and other information.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) have a few characteristics that make them fundamentally different from otherwise similar networks such as Mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs).

This course will present some of the most common problems, challenges and algorithmic solutions encountered with Sensor Nets.
